My new Geo title says 0 miles... that's weird because the odo says 205k.

maybe ur state is different with its hunk o-crap. but this is a MA title i believe, stated on there everything is correct, so i am pretty swayed to believe it, theres only like 100 extra miles from what the title says and thats from getting driven home. and this "transfer" was done over 5 years ago. so yeah...

any owner can just state the milage when they transfer it.
I would believe it as original milage only if you have a paper trail of receipts since it was almost new. I had that for my 74K mile 280Z. But that Z also looked like a 74k mile car. Practically new.

but it doesn't really matter to me Snwy. I was just making a joke.

Yup. My speedo was replaced in 94. It had 193K miles(give or take a few hundred.) With a new nissan one. She now has 191K. I burn a gal of 20-50 a week. Can't get over 4K rpms. And run ritch as hell. If you open her wide open she starts popin. I backfire every shift too. And the flames from the backfire are awsome. blew a exhaust valve while back, drove a week on 5 cylinders. Droped in another from a old P79. Kept driving(the blew valve had a good chunck missing off it) but the damn thing won't die. And I still tow ppl when they need it. She spent 365K miles mated to a auto.

I'll bet money all it needs are new rings, a head gasket, some seafoam and electrical contact cleaner on every connection to make it run like new again!
