Well I drive the Z every day, and its kinda just a quick fix as im getting sick of the loud CLUNK when I hit the gas

A vid would be nice too My friends 300ZX has a whine from the diff and its not to bad

That clunk could be the half shafts. My Z still does it from reverse to forward w/ a solid diff mount. Someday I am going to change over to CV's.

The half shafts? I dont feel any play in them tho...

Well we'll see when you pull your diff mount. Make sure you put the jack stands on the rear frame, not the rear cross member, or you'll never get the diff out.

Uh I usually put them at the lift points, is that what you meant by frame?

HA! You're so wrong bro lol I did that when my diff decided to grenade itself, and I didn't realize that the cross member would flex that much lol

I did have to change the mounting point (the frame rail) to put it back in though lol

Ahhhh... good times...

lol Nice, as for me seems Im not doing the work tonight, I'm a little out of it as it took me 2 hours to draw out a simple wiring diagram soooo I might some how fubar my brakes lol
