After careful thought, I have decided I don't want a g-nose for my Z. I really like the MSA Type II body kit. And I feel in my opinion, the g-nose is not the look I want. Just wanted to add that. Thanks.

The S130 is too long as it is - the G nose just makes it longer...

it would work better if it carried more of the body lines with it, like the fender flares creases, they just kind of stop when they hit the body panel

As does the factory bumper trim.
These are not modern cars and the front piece here is just a replica of a vintage piece. I think its a good look (makes the car super long) and fits the era and design style of the 280ZX

^^^ Not cool. He hasn't been online here since Sept. I suggest contacting him on FB as he is still doing business there: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Z-For...01713726546117

Shipping to AZ should take 7 days. I'm not sure why you waited 6 months to follow up in the first place.

So does that mean it could be sitting at your house right now?

I hope you can get the tracking number. If he sent it and UPS or FedEx lost the package you may be out of luck. After a certain amount of time (maybe 90 days) you can't file a claim any longer.

I shipped it out as stated to his "landlord" via Greyhound shipping as I stated I would. He left me his landloard's name and # and that's who I put on the claim to pick it up from Greyhound. If he doesn't pick it up after a certain time frame, I think they may send it to their warehouse or toss it.

i like the look can you make it out of different material (carbon fiber perhaps) CF is my crack and been trying to get some since Nismo Fiesta..
some guy had a 240z made of complete carbon fiber and roll cage. his hood front airdam, fenders, and light buckets all one piece.
i had this idea when dropping my turbo with out removing the manifolds.. but got beat to it lol

I bed Justin could have the shop make it from carbon fiber. I would expect the product to be about four times the price for that material. Maybe more...

Overall, I'm very happy with the fitment, quite surprised actually. Going to make a few minor adjustments and the mold will be started this week and should be good to go in a week or 2.

Now about the headlight covers, I've gone over a few details with the shop and he's going to price out materials and time to form them etc. Then we'll go over the shape and etc if it's not ridiculously high to do something like this.

Here's some rough pictures of the test fitment...

do you live in santa ana????

After seeing the pictures above. I am having second thoughts on the g nose. That Z looks pretty sick with it installed. But for now, I have other priorities, and this will have to wait a while. Just to note, I am interested again. Sorry to be a yo yo. lol

^ Yeah that Z does look sick man. That is another reason I decided to be back in the g nose buy. It just will be a while though. Other things are more important right now.

looks good, but the olny thing is that it looks waaaaaay incomplete on a z by itself... like a civic with a massive aluminum wing, cept its on the front and under the car...

looks like the rear of the car is gunna lift from the size of the front bumper... (skirts and rear would probbly solve it but i duno... just looks goofy without that)
when life stops sucking and i get the zed sorted, ill take one though
