NISSAN is pretty good.... they are the ones that make the L28ET & RB26DETT

or you could go stand alone.... SDS, MegaSquirt, Haltech...

Trannies... Upgraded Borg Warner for the L28ET or the stock tranny for the RB.

ok, if you have 100k to **** away, and little to no car knowledge follow these simple steps.

1. get briefcase

2. go to bank

3. withdraw 100k

4. fill briefcase.

5. hop in Z and drive to race shop.

6. hand keys and briefcase to guy at shop, leave instructions to make 100k turn into sick *** Z.

really man. why are you emo if daddy can just toss you 100k? what do you have to whine and cry about?

you have an EMO BAND. usually, people with emo bands are EMO.

and you never said before that you earned the money.

And the reason I've got that kind of money is cause I was fortunate enough to be raised in the kind of environment I was raised it.
so what does that mean. i read it as daddys money. and why are you going to **** away 100k at 18 years old. on a CAR!!?!? invest man, cars dont appreciate. buy a house, gain equity, and THEN start pissing away on cars.

how did you earn 100k at 18 first off? second off 100k in building a car is fawkin nuts. however if i had the money to blow this is what i would buy
240Z
RB26Dett motor wiht RB25 tranny to bolt.
Take apart and rebuild the Bottom and top half of the engine with performance everything. cryo treat it.
have it professionally installed and all the custom parts (mounts, drive shaft, etc...) profesionally made.
then get the frame strengthend up like crazy
get the interior redone to look amazing with all the corresponding guages. then get a standalone ECU and go and tune the biotch to 600hp or w.e. you want.
now make the body PERFECT!!!! and of coarse volk racing rims (and 2 rota rims for drag slicks in the rear) and then wrap them in bridgstone potenza so-3's
i might be forgetting crap but i dont know for sure. and by build the motor i meant single turbo conversion injectors cams valves....everything. and of coarse we gotta let it breathe good. exhaust intake manifold down pipe. etc...
but thats just mee. and you might actually get close to spending half that 100k with that list.
this does seem like a JR of that previos JR....
but anser me how the environment you grew up in is the reason you eanred 100k?

just curious: what do you do veritas, for a living, that you have $100k to put into a car (any car) at 18? Not trying to flame you but I've obviously been in the wrong line of work.

STOP!!! Hammer Time!!! So I know you all like Nissan engines, but why sink alot of money squeezing 600hp out of an L6 or V6 when we all know GM makes some kick *** all aluminum small blocks that can be made to hit 600hp with probably more Tq...we are talking about controled sliding in a car that weight will be an issue in right...

10185075
Aluminum V8 Cylinder Case
$4724
This aluminum V8 bare block weighs 90 lbs. and is cast from prime ingot A-356 aluminum with heat treatment to T6 specification. Wall thicknesses have been increased for greater stress capabilities. The main bearing diameter is 2.45". Its rigid deck surfaces are .620". It has blind-tapped head bolt holes to improve head gasket sealing. The cylinder sleeves are semi-finished at 3.986" and will finish at 4.150" bore diameter. It has a 4-bolt main bearing cap on all five locations of 8620 steel which will clear standard oil pans. The rear main bearing is the 2-piece, pre-1986 design. These blocks are wet sump designed but can be converted to dry sump oiling by simply plugging the oil pump hole in its rear main bearing cap.
Technical Notes: Use cam bearing kit P/N 12370843.

Need I say more? I mean crap, I can curl this block!!!
