and its not black crow....they kid looks different from the my 350z turd. lol.....yet, the story is crazy similare huh?

oh and also...in an RB26 your not really squeexing 600hp out of that motor. it is a de-tuned super car motor anywyas. like the vg30dett...but an inline 6 instead of V6. as long as you have the suporting parts (proper turbo/fuel supply) and the tuning capabilities you could get 600hp out of the stock bottom end...i jsut think its wise to build a motor that you want lots of HP from. oh yeah and i wasnt bashing on you...i just dont like V8's i dont want any hard feelings from a miss interp thxone....

The movie industry. My family has been in the motion picture industry for probably 25 years. The first job I had was an Production Assistant. In 24 weeks that got me 15k. I had nothing to spend it on, so I saved it. My second job was an apprentice editor position, in 8 months that got me 24k. And my job as an assistant editor has gotten me about 37k (thus far)

And those are only jobs I can legally put on my resume.

So, if I wasn't in the environment of the motion picture industry, I probably wouldn't be as well off as I am.

Veritas, you might want to check out www.zxman.com for some quality used parts at a good price. I've dealt with him before, and always had good results...

Carl

P.S. Welcome to the forums. It's a great place with great people!!

Well the first movie I technically worked on, but wasn't on hire for (I was around 6 or something) was Stargate (the movie, not that SciFi show). Anyways, I was going into work with my dad on a saturday, stopped off a McDonalds, which eventually ended up with a cheeseburger rotating on an 8 track, I swear a ghost did it.. hehe. But be was the editor at the time, but he like me cut and splice some stuff while all the film was still film. (they've moved onto computers - ****ing macs..). My first actually film was Deep Blue Sea, we went to to Mexico for that one, good times. Then came Doom, that was amazing. I got to go to Prague and London on location to work on that one.

And I'm currently working on a new film fom Liongate and WWE Films called "The Condemned"

So if you have all this money, why are you trying to buy a beat up 280zx??? If I was going to blow $100k cuz I got "so much money to spend," I'd be buying a BMW M5 or Porsche Carrera.... at least roll in style.

ew, beamer = armenian car.

I like old cars, I think everything from '92 to now is as ugly as my mom.

Plus, c'mon - the 280 would be wild in the sack

the car's only got about 60k miles on it. And all the work it needs done is new fuel injectors which I got yesterday.

And I was actually going to import a Skyline or a RX-7, which I still want to do, but I dont want to have to deal with thos *$#&ing import people.

Ok ok, I take back my statement earlier. and change it to

"except the 94 Skyline and the 92 RX-7"

------

cause I can't drive it if there's no fuel injectors, and I want to before I put all this stuff in it, it's not going to happen over night.

maybe 2 nights, hahaha just kidding

Oh man, it was awesome. At my 2nd high school, all there's kids were talkng about Skylines and how they're not real imports and how they are imports and how they're full of *#&% cause it isn't a real import, et cetera. ANYWAYS

About a year down the line I was like... oh snap, THAT'S what a skyline is. Hahaha, they weren't real imports... stupid high schoolers.
