Hi, I found a 79 datsun 280zx today and managed to get the asking price to $400. It is a little rough cosmetic wise. Probably needing a new left door and front right panel, under the hood is a different story other than needing a new battery and an ignition barrell everything under the hood is original and only has 70,000kms on the clock. I am just wanting to know if anyone thinks its worth the price of 400 even knowing that it does need a fair few things interior and body which I actually don't mind putting the time and effort into fixing up. Any answers will be a big help thank you.

what the ???? is an ignition barrel. you got a beer tap on it. any way $400 bucks for a running s130 is a great price. if you are looking km on the clock what part of the world are you living in???? is that us, canada or aussie dollars.

 

My guess is the lock cylinder, from my recollection of the use of barrel.
