allright here we go...
ive evidently fried my ignition system but i dont know where, i took the resistor or whatever it is conecting to the coil out of the loop conecting the 2 wires together, when i turned the key on i heard a loud pop before i could crank the engine.... i opend the fuseable link box (i call it that cause the black wire in there says that) near the battery and it had a little smoke in it still, what do i need to replace in there, the whole box? is there a fuse in there? i need input guys... what started all of this is i was getting a really weak spark to my plugs... all after i changed to a hotter range plug.... *sigh* im havin a really shitty "Z" week, help me please... also i found an electric water pump made specifically for the L series engine, looks promising http://www.csiperformance.com/water_pump3.html

Well, yeah, sounds like you blew a link. Pull each one out and look to see which one's black. If you can't see...smell. Your nose will tell you which one's burned out.

well i got her fixed.... fusable links were fried, did the maxi fuse mod, here is a pic
looks lots cleaner if you ask me
