James, I got the pix. THanks a million! Looks great on screen. Anyways, I emailed you about the other stuff. I'm no expert, but there's my 2 cents. I hope I can keep in contact with you, so as to ask questions and show you what has transpired on my Z from here out. I'm a low budget guy, so it'll be slow going, but it'll get there...

Sure Carl, we'll keep in touch. Classic owners are the nicest people I get to meet. I used to own a 62 VW Karmann Ghia convertible and get to make many new friends. The VW owners are just as nice.

Yup, Karmann Ghia was my dream car. I flew to Atlanta GA from CA to check it out from internet advertisement and buy it right on the spot for 8K. This car was in perfect condition, all rust area treated. I then spent coupld more k to fine tune it. After driving it for a few yrs, I posted it on ebay to see what its worth. A dude from Sweden saw it and made me an offer that I CANT REFUSE. So the ghia was ship to sweden and under good car now.

Can you guess where my Z fund came from ?

Sweet deal. I'd be hard pressed to part with a Ghia, though. Anyway, can you post a shot with the flange painted black? I though it may help some other people. I'm surprised that more good looking Z's don't have that done already...

Yes, it was really difficult for me to part with the ghia. I will email you some of my Ghia pic then you can see why.
