Hmm, I guess I can see that, generally it seems like the areas we've lived in haven't been all that hot. I mean sure the houses go up in price, but generally everything goes up in price. Mainly what I'm saying is that even as everything goes in price the property itself isn't as desirable due to the happenings around it, such as the school system becoming lousy. So the property goes up, but in general it's not helping you much because you can't move the house for much due to the fact that the area isn't so desirable to live there. Also don't forget this is coming from the Cleveland area which was dubbed one of the poorest cities in the US if I'm not mistaken. Although the area we reside in now is pretty nice.

On the topic of the TT Z32s. If you think about it the main reason there are so many problems with them is generally because anyone who owned a TT Z32 never owned it so they could maybe once in a while get on the freeway way faster than just about anything or used it for getting in and out of traffic quick. I mean you buy a 300HP Twin Turbo car for the price it was you're generally using it to go fast, so in general most of the parts have been beat on to a degree. Sure a turbo car has more that can go wrong, but that's generally why the N/As have fewer problems they weren't pushed as hard. Or at least in general they weren't because those people would have mainly gone for the TT.
