Growl at idle... but not loud... but louder than stock?

I would be more focused on modifications for power, than for ultimate exhaust sound.

Ya ya ya I know lol I dont mind the loud but when you dont have sound insulation installed yet, its gets annoying sense I drive on the highway a lot

As for power, theres not much boltons you can do to milk all the HP from an L28 Really. Most require machining or rebuilding

Oh, my exhaust is definitely loud on the highways...lol. I'm probably gonna move the muffler to the rear eventually.

Actually, at a cruise, the Cherry Bombs aren't that bad, I'm sure that if I had the windows rolled up (which is impossible to live through with no A/C and living in the desert lol) I could easily have a conversation with my passenger. I get more noise from my tires than my exhaust

P.S. if you look in my YouTube account, I also have a video of my Z with stock 2" exhaust, no cat, and a Flowmaster muffler on it. One of my Honda friends thought I had an LS1 in it when he heard it idle! lol

Hmm, not bad then. For now I'm just going to leave it alone, I have bigger problems now like where the exhaust smell is getting into my car from at high speeds.

I KNOW I need all new body and window gaskets all on the back area. And to fix that giant hole of a wheel well

Back from ZDAYZ and I won 'Worst Exhaust'. With three cars each from the worst side and the best side in the final. Ended up 'winning' 'cause the other two spun tires. Immediate disqualification. Thing is my 83ZXT has 2 1/2 to a Flowmaster and sounds fine to me. The prize was $200 credit for best and $200 for worst from Forged Performance in Marietta, Ga. So I may as well do nothing, go back next year and win again.

Weird sounding idea. as for me so far I like the stock muffler sound, Idk how restrictive it is tho
