280ZX (NA) to 280ZX Turbo swap
And so the saga begins:
The head and block that I plan to use is already in the garage. It is a 1982 engine from an automatic turbo Z with 114K miles on it. All stock in the car when the car was rolled recently. Very good conadate for a head and block. It is the P90 head with manual rocker arms.
I removed all the accessories and intake/exhaust manifold from it.
Also shown is my MP3 player (computer) and my goodies to install later. Fairlady Z fender mirrors, BOV, reverse glow gauges, JSK fuel rail, and 2.5" downpipe.
Next up, compression test and rocker inspection.

Oh ya, those gauges are sweet! procarparts.com only about $55. They have a **** to switch from red to blue or something like that. They are a light metalic silver. Available in the 1980-83 NA style only. So I'm going to be running NA gauges with a boost gauge (and any other guages) mounted separately. ya, so no 120mph speedo

I just went to get a pic from their website but it looks like they don't carry them anymore.
Here's some info from the box; maybe you can look them up.

The control module says Epicenter E12-908D. there are no part numbers anywhere.

Sounds like Bleach is going to be having some fun getting his dirty for a while. It's gonna be awesome when you are done I'm sure. One of these day's I will get around to doing the turbo swap. I'm just trying to get the rest of the car worthy of that much power first. No sense in having a hot motor in a car that can't handle it. It's almost there though now. Got the suspension and brakes all done and that was the most important thing. I just want to finish the interior and get the body kit on and shot before I make it go as fast as it looks!

RB20DET = $1300, shipped to my doorstep, supposedly. That includes ECU, and transmission. A friend of mine has a couple leads for me, when I have the cash to go that route [which will be soon, very soon ... ].

Turbo parts car fired right up first try!
got it in the garage, up on jack stands (finally) and the front end is off. I have a few pics which I'll post later tonight. Time for a lunch break.
