Does the light turn on at the switch? If so, it might be the metalic defogger lines on the window that are broken or scratched.

Also... did you get that ecu or $$$ back to WreckedJ30?

Ha ha ironic man, I found out last Friday mine didn't work either. The light on the switch turns on. But the rear window stays fogged. Oh well, hopefully I can replace the lines, when I redo my window tint. Yeah and I think NismoPick is right, both of our lines could be broken somewhere.

Was there tint on it that you removed? As a person who has tinted window professionally, I know that some tint when removed can also remove the metallic lines from the glass...enough to make it not work. Also, there are connections on the back glass for the defroster...make sure they are connected. Some auto parts stores sell repair kits for the lines.

I've heard that tint removal via steaming is alot safer for cars with defrost lines.

Are there any aftermarket kits or ways to add defroster lines to a Zcar that didn't orginally come with them? Or will I have to find an original glass hatch to replace mine with, to get defrost?
