i saw on a youtube video of someone who had switch behind his centre console armrest/storage area a set of switch that opened and closed the rear windows. are these common in the states? i cant find the video now but i would really love to set this up in my car

All 82-83 280zx 2+2's had that option... they are manual levers w/ cables.

That was a sweet option. My buddy has an 83 2+2 and I thought those windows were the best thing I'd seen on a Z in a long time. Of course all I've ever owned were coupes.

good, there is a start. does anybody sell these as kits? i tried black dragon and msa but no joy. also been scouring ebay but to no avail

I was going to swap them over from my spare 82 onto my 81 turbo... but the biggest problem is that you have to drill holes into that back seat / tranny hump for the cables to feed through. That's the only major work... all the other parts just swap over. I haven't ever seen BDA or MSA sell parts for them... you may be able to get them through Nissan tho.

hmm i'l try my local dealer as the guy up there was pretty handy when i was looking last time. otherwise i'l keep checking ebay and for wrecks. thanks for your help
