won't start
I need help on a 1979 zx that won't start. I have 40# fuel pressure (checked after changing fuel filter). I have spark (my hands sting tingling), I have compression and it's in time, I think. I checked to see if #1 piston was on top when distributor was on #1 plug. I also checked to make sure the injectors had juice to them with a test light. Everything seems to check out, but when I crank it over it just won't start. I keep thinking it has to be fuel related, but I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

After cranking it over for a while with no starting, pull out a spark plug to see if it has fuel on it. If you can't really tell, put in one brand new spark plug; crank the engine a while, then take the new one out and see what it looks like. That'll let you know if you actually have fuel inside the engine.
Do a valve clearance, and then do a compression test.

look at the connector @ the distributor
when i first bought mine it was in a box for 3 years and the connector being bad at the distributor was a small fish to me,try inspecting the connecters,i had to replace mine with female speaker spades and used the factory wheather boot. it's worth a shot.
