After cranking it over for a while with no starting, pull out a spark plug to see if it has fuel on it. If you can't really tell, put in one brand new spark plug; crank the engine a while, then take the new one out and see what it looks like. That'll let you know if you actually have fuel inside the engine.

Do a valve clearance, and then do a compression test.

Also to test for lack of fuel...pull off a vacuum line and spray in some starting fluid and see if it tries to start.

Give some info about the car right up to it not running. have you thought about the the air flow meter? This could make it not run! fuel lines reversed?
