The temp sensor is on the bottom front of the thermostat housing. Two wires from the injector harness run to it and another sensor on the housing. The temp sensor should be the one w/ a pigtail wire coming from it.

As for the psi prob... are you using an aftermarket boost gauge?

The stock boost gauge doesn't measure in PSI, it measures in mmHG.

I bet when you did the intake/exhaust gasket you did something similar to what I did, and messed up the wiring for the thermostat and either forgot to hook up a vacuum line, or hooked up the whole VCM in the wrong order.

the temp gauge wasnt snapped in all the way, the car does run a little slower, but all the vacuum lines and wiring is correct because i marked everything, its just being a pain, and now its leaking trans fluid very bad, and its dripping around the starter because it is soaked in it

Your gauge shouldn't ever read 7 if everything is stock. For starters there is that red band in boost, it will only ever hit the beginning of that red band unless you modify it. Also check your ignition timing for the car feeling like it's running slower, also go through and check every vacuum line. Even if they're hooked up correctly, some may be cracked. It wasn't until I did my Intake/Exhaust gasket that all my vacuum lines started cracking and breaking, mainly because I had to pull alot of them off.
