I have noticed that when I take a right hand turn while getting on my car the oil pressure will drop to (zed-ero) zero...but only on right hand turns and I can hear the valve train alot more. Sounds evil as all hell when it does it but I know it is bad. Left hand turns while getting on it is fine and I can't here the valvetrain like with the right handers. Why would it lose pressure on right hand turns??? I have checked the oil level and it looks to be spot on where it needs to be, I am dumbfounded. Should I not be hitting my 500hp shot of NOZ on my stock engine like that?

 

I know some 280zx oil pressure sending units become faulty over time. There is a short unit & a longer one. I have found that the longer one works best. BTW... when was the last time you changed your oil?

 

I want to say it was about 2-2 1/2 months ago 3 months tops that I changed the oil and oil filter...I have put about 800 miles on it since then. I used Valvoline High Mile oil and a purolator filter. No leaks from the plug or filter.

 

Grrrrrrr, it IS low on oil!!!! One qt to be exact!!!!! Fix one leak, now to fix this leak!!!! I am gonna have a smaller cam here soon if I keep running it like this with all this metal to metal contact!!
