Nope... 2seater & 2+2's are the same from the front bumper to the front of the doors.

Thank You!

Another question: I know that the 1979-1981 bumpers were different from the 82-83, but are those interchangeable? Could I put an 81 bumper on an 83?

Thanks

Yes you can, I put a '81 bumper on my '82. But you need to take the bottom skirt off the front end in order to mount the sides of it properly. I will do that later on, if I decide to go with the '81 look. All in all, most parts are interchangeable.

Ok, would i need to purchase a new bumper reinforcement or any other new parts? I'm putting on a xenon urethane air dam and the guy is including the bumper cover from a 81.

no it's the very last bumper at the bottom on the MSA website under the front bumper section. It's the one made from urethane.

Wait!! dont get the air dam from msa, their prices are way over from other dealers. I bought the air dam myself from this website, only $142 compared to msa's $210. It really helps to shop around...

Htats Really Expensive For The Bumper Cover. It Might Just Be Cheaper To Get A Body Kit And Get Rid Of The Bumpers Completely.

Yeah, i know it's expensive on MSA, that's why i'm not getting it from them. but the guy i am getting it from is also wanting to sell me the bumper cover from a 1981 z. but, i didn't know if i needed to buy a new bumper reinforcement to go behind it. the bumper covers from 79-81 show a little bit of the steel reinforcement. so my question is, to change my bumper from an 83 bumper to a 81 will i need to buy anything other than an 81 bumper cover?

I just put that bumper on my car and it looks great.

Sorry to kind of hijack your thread but I was wondering were I would find fog lights for it. It seems the cut outs are 3.25inch x 6inch.

thanks

Awesome, saves me some money! Thanks guys! If i got the xenon air dam from http://www.performancecenter.com what color does it automatically come in? it shows red, but i figured it would come in black. Also, in the one with optional fog lights, how hard is it to cut out the holes for the foglights?

they come in black, the fog lights can be cut out with a saw if they arent already.
