well the rust and all isnt all that bad everyone around me thinks im crazy and all for wanting to fix it till they see that its a turbo
but its my 1st z car and i plan to fix it when i get the new floors and subrame parts it wont take me more than a month to get it one the road
thankfully its where i work so i have acces to everything i need for tools

well i work in a junk yard and i live in va the reason the car went to the junk yard was due to the rust
and we also have a full body shop located where i work

well dont think ill be selling my head jut yet i plan on keeping my car as original as i can

hey got a new prob with the car dont run no more
1st checked the fuel pump and changed it
still no fuel pressure so i went to the sending unit was compleatly cloged with sludge
so i changed it i also saw what looks like a pressure regulator but its got a bolt with a nut on it is that an adjustable pressure regulator?
i need help maybe some one has asked this question before i dunno

seafoam my friend. learn it live it. Try removing the fuel rail, pump, injectors, regulator as a whole, then mix a can of seafoam with five gallons of fuel and run that through, repeat until clean, also get a clip for the injectors and add some wires so you can use a 12v power supply to open them while running seafoam.

so put constant power to the injectors? seafoam ive hear that stuff was pretty good

yes you can, and you only need to trip the injectors.

got it running again i had to force feed it till it would idle again
back on the body work i had fould out plugs but ill be usin the seafoam this weekend as well as about 10 gallons of fresh fuel thanks for the help
