Okay heres the deal. This dude decided to turn my car off by covering the air horns on the carbs with his hands after we jumpstarted the car. Now, the car turns and turns, but won't start. There is definately gas geting to the engine and it is not flooding. I don't have any idea why it won't start. It may be pure coincidence that it was jumped or turned off that way but any opinions will be appreciated. Anyone know the deal?Thanks

 

I assume you checked spark. Did you try to induce starting with starter fluid. Also if he killed it by sucking the air out then check your pistons and make sure they didnt get stuck. This happened to my 240 once when I was trying to synch them by hand. If this is the case you need to pull and rebuild.

alright. Thanks dude. I got it covered. Turned out it was just flooded or something. I got it to start after cranking it with the fuel cutoff turned off. All gas left engine and it starts now.
