Size: 874.9 KBHello I'm new to forums and the car scene over all so if i post in the wrong place or am not to educated in cars please forgive. There has been this 280z sitting in my school parking lot for awhile and was interested in buying it and selling it for some profit to buy a later model 240z. The paint is in rough conditional so is the interior. My auto teacher told me the owner did put some money into the engine but the car is automatic. How much would a 280z be worth in this continues? I will post pics once I figure out how.

by the time you dump 10K into the thing to make it saleable you will have found that you now have a 9500 dollar car. Hoping to make a profit on a Z car is wishful thinking by those who believe in the greater fool theory.

rogerz is right. Looking closer at all the body damage, the only way you MIGHT make a profit on that car is to get it for almost free and part it out. You will have to get a good look inside, underneath and in the engine bay.
