Hello All and Happy New Year. I'm new to Zdriver. March of 2012, I acquired my second 78 280Z which is turning out to be a challenge. From time to time I will be checking the forum and asking for help as I go through this Z to see what the previous owners attempted to do with it. As the old military term goes " slow and steady as we go".

What are the best way to add pictures to be viewed by other members?

If I did this right, I have three pictures that I uploaded to Flickr.
I am trying to gain some insight on what this part is and what it is suppose to do.

This part looks like an UFO with hoses running off the top and bottom.
The small hose on top is a vacum line that runs to drive side of the engine hooking to a vacum port just below the cold start valve.
There are two larger hoses coming from the bottom that as of right now not connectec to anything.

I've checked the FSM and couldn't find anything on this.
looked on the forum at other's Z's and didn't see this on their's.

Any insight is much appreciated.
