Hi guys my name is Jared and I just recently bought my first car which is a 1980 Datsun 280zx. I joined because I figured all of my questions could be answered here. Oh and I am new to cars because I am usually wrenching on my CL350 cafe racer project. But let's talk about my car, it has 165,000 miles, non turbo. I am not sure if it's a 2.0 or 2.8 (if someone can inform me on that) It runs and drives well, I need to replace the rotors, and get the steering realigned. But anyways can anyone help a noob with future questions about the car lol!

If you still have the stock motor, then it's a 2.8L (hence the name "280zx").

240Z = 2.4L
260Z = 2.6L
280Z/280ZX = 2.8L

Thanks man! And yes the engine is original, pretty much everything is. I will be asking questions quite often, because cars a quite a bit different from motorcycles.
