I was wondering

On these zs, what kind of gas mileage they give. I found online that saying they go about 20mpg, but on here some people say they got 29mpg? I was hoping they go any higher than that 20mpg.

I always give my 1968 T-bird a light food and get about 17mpg, it a v8 429 and give it good foot. The z will be my daily driver, I was hoping it could give out good mileages.

Not to be a jerk, but are you foreign, or do you speak English as a primary language? It's a little hard to understand some of your posts. Maybe I missed you saying so.

I am averaging around 28mpg with my 260Z, on the highway. I put a lot of highway miles on the Z, and that is a collective of the last month. That is with a light foot. If I am on the go pedal too much, I am lucky to get 20mpg. But, I have a triple Weber setup. So, I would think that would make my mileage worse. Before I did a valve lash adjustment, and upgraded my ignition system I would get a best of 20mpg on the highway. It was pretty brutal.

I will say, that with the carburetor setup I am using, I am running on the lean side, and won't be for long. I am going to replace some jets in the Webers as soon as I can spare the money for rebuild kits for all three carburetors.

I am hard of hearing, which means that I learn ASL (American Sign Language) along with the deaf people. I try hard to keep my English skills and keep up with them, so I might do make some bad grammar out here.

And thanks for the information, this helped me out.

Not at all.

I meant no harm by my first comment. It was not malicious. I was just curious more than anything. I wouldn't even put someone down if they were illiterate.

In fact, I think it's cool when ever we have members out of the norm. Things tend to get pretty boring.

I almost took sign language as a foreign language in high school.
Because of the way it is setup with shortcuts compared to normal speech, I understand what you mean.

Thanks for filling me in, and I will help out with anything I can.

Never was one that would make assumptions. I would rather ask when other people are afraid to, then to just imagine other possibilities.

20-26mpg is average... remember that it's a 6cyl engine. It's just not going to get that great of gas mileage.

Yeah, I know that, but just wanna see if there is any information about them. Besides, my daily driver is a Ford 1968 with a v8 429, not a beautiful price on gas and mileage. Now that I have a Datsun L6 I should go better.
