Unhappy two days of body work, now it missfires

hey peeps..
so this weekend ive been straightening the front end on a 1978 280z i picked up last week. it ran perfect prior to the body work but now its missfiring bad and wont idle under its own power. ive check and double check that everything is where it should be.

this is mind boggling.. the only thing that would make sence is if somthing was wiggled loose with all the hammering..

ive checked the sparkplugs, all were soaked with gas. then checked the roter under the cap and cleaned the end with light grit sand paper. all the wires are brand new.

any help and suggetions are greatly appreciated. ive rly fallen for this car and would love to enjoy it on the road as it should be.

Welcome to ZDriver!

Since it's running too rich, it's most likely the coolant temp sensor in the thermostat housing, or the AFM. You can easily OHM check the coolant temp sensor from the ecu plug to make sure it's working correctly. As for the AFM, make sure it's securely plugged in, and check all the boots and clamps from the air filter box to the intake manifold.

It was the AFM. Got to digging around on the driver side and noticed there were no wires running to it and thought that wasnt right. Pulled it out and sure enough, they fell under it and were against the fram out of site. Plugged things back and she fired right up! All the banging had to have knocked it loose lol.
