Hey guys--- I figured out why the car died--- I guess 1 gallon isnt enough in the tank for it to run well. I put in about 5 gallons and it ran fine... BUT while messing with the wires by the voltage regulator, and doing to chg system testing, the engine died (when I took off the + cable to see if it would stay running) and now won't start at ALL! It's getting spark-- if I spray some starter fluid in a vacuum line it fires--.

I swapped the CPU with a spare, and that didn't cure the problem.. I checked ALL the wires and fuses and connectors--- no luck. Any ideas?

there's pressure, and the pump is getting power... all the fuses are OK

Ooh, you have a FI now, What are you planing to do wth your Carbs?, i am looking for some SU's for my 260z, i will buy them off of you if there are at a good price.

Turned out when I took the positive terminal off when the engine was running i fried the ECU. A trip to the junkyard today and $31 and its fixed. Thanks for the advice everyone!
