Newbie with questions

Hey everyone! im new here and i finally bought my dream car a 1970 240z anyways ill be honest. since i have always been with a strict family i couldnt work on cars nor could i have learned much about them but trust me i am crazy about them! plz dont judge xD. the thing is i always loved the wangan midnight's devil z and it has been my dream to own something similar and i finally got one! its in ( i think ) okay condition. my question for you people is where should i start restoring the car?? it currently runs an N/A rb25det and i was wondering what should i do??? i certainly have a goal but i have no clue on where to start.. my goal is around 300-400 hp daily use and able to drive to a track and race in it and back to the house again ^^' i know its a lot but it is in the end a long term project. i know a couple of things about cars not much i want to learn more and start working on it my self rather than taking it to a garage and ask them to do it themselves ( which is what most people do in dubai ) i know it has trouble with the fuel pump or something??? ive talked to my dad about it he says that the fuel pump is acting up, i read somewhere that an rb25 needs powerful fuel injectors and i guess my z is running some low quality ones anyways please help me out and if you got some trusted websites that sell parts and some beginner guides that would be great thanks

kind regards from a newbie

Welcome to ZDriver!

An RB25 has 300-400hp potential right off the bat. Maybe post some pics and more details of the car / engine bay?

Ah, you have an RB25DE Neo... no "T" for turbo.

With naturally aspirated (non-turbo), it's all the same... intake, exhaust, cams, exhaust, ignition, efi control, etc.

Search around Google / Austrailia Nissan forums. There are a few threads on modifying the n/a RB25DE, but as with all engines: non-turbo hp is much more costly than forced induction hp.
