injection or carbs
injection or carbs
i have a friend that made a custom intake manifold for a l28. its made for a holly 4 barrel. as aposed to my injection, would i be getting more power from the carbs for take off and acceleration or would anyone suggest i stay with injection
carb technology is 1914, injection of our cars is 1960ish, now when you think aboot it, you would be moving backwards. if you are going to be going carb, then go su's or webber. they tune much nicer for the z car. and if you want supperior injection, then get a piggy back or stand alone system. to me the 4 barrel setup is not really any advantage.
Here's some recent previous threads about the same thing (carb vs FI):

In a nutshell... carbs = old technology ... FI = new technology. Ask yourself... Why aren't modern day sports cars carb'd?
