help please! 280z wont start

When i turn the key to the on position none of the electronics come on. The car wont turn over, the headlights turn on and thats it. I checked the fuse links and the fuses and they were all good, i replaced the ignition switch, the car will not even turn on. What is wrong with my car???

I suggest tracing the power in the + wires from the battery... Check for power @ the main fusable links, fuse block, and various accessories until you no longer get power. You can use a multi-meter or a 12v car lightbulb.

well we traced it all the way back to right before the ignition switch but we couldnt figure out where it was stopping, so we just re-routed the power wire from somewhere in the line that was getting power and put it directly to the switch, a temporary fix but at least i can drive my car. thanks for the help
