'77 280z Wont start
I just pulled out the car yesterday and washeed it for the first time in 12years.. i attempted to start the beast but she wont turn over. when i try to start it it cranks then clicks like mad.. i know the the fuel system is in dire need of replace ment.. my father said the injectors and the fuel lines need replaced along with the gas tank. so if any one knows why it clicks your help would be appeciated

If you mean it clicks when you turn the key, check the ingnition cable on the starter, sometimes this comes loose. Also did the car run before you washed it? If so take off the distributer and dry it. After that take the fuel line off the top of the fuel filter and see if you egt a study flow of fuel with the ingnition on. This will tell you if the fuel pump and filter are working.

well the car hasnt been started or ran since 92 when it wont a local car show. i m going to attempt to put in a new battery this weekend and where can i find this cable that might come loose? Also, where is the best place to get new injectors i have looked around and cannot find any but performance ones.

The wire is located on the starter right behind the battery cable connection. It is a slip connection and the y tend to come loose from time to time. Also make sure the inline fuses on the passenger firewall are all in good shape. You can buy new ones or go to Radio Shack and buy the fuse wire for them and make your own, that is what I did.
