What about Ruff wheels ? ? ?

Can anybody tell me anything about Ruff Racings Wheels? I am thinking about their model 277. 19" x 8.5 & 9.5. Offset is +20. I think the Hyper Black would look sick on my LeMans Z. The price seems almost to good to be true. I could not find any reviews in my on-line search.

Ruff are ok wheels. If you're going to spend the money on those, I think you can afford better quality wheels (SSR, Works, Speedstar, Rays, etc.)

Thanks for the reply. That is kinda what I figured. I am not really ready to spend money for wheels - yet. I want to wear out my OEM tires first. (I only have 7k miles on the Z so far) I was tempted because I can get a set of these Ruff's for $500 including shipping. (I like their model 278 better anyway) I want something that everybody else does not have, but quality is important. If I am going to end up spending $800 for tires, I probably should budget at least that much from rims. (ouch) Guess I'll keep looking. So . . . . who wants to sell me a good looking, cheap, strong, light set of 19"s ?

are you set on 19's? if not, save a few hundred and get 18's. then when you get tired of the 18" wheels, you can turn them into your track wheels, which isn't really an option with 19's.

I have RUFF's. There is nothing I do not like about them. No cracks, no paint flaws, easy to maintain, and they look HAWT! For the price, I am not sure you can beat the quality of these wheels. And to top it off, the offset is designed for the Z perfectly.

I am pretty much set on 19's for the street. I will keep my stock 17's if I ever decide I want track wheels.

Which model of the Ruff's do you have? How much do they weigh? Can you post a picture please.

Here is a great link I found. 9 pages of photos of different wheel on 350Z's.

I have the 278's in Hyper Black. I think they are only a pound or 2 less than stock. Photobucket is down at the moment so I will have to post later. Or you can look at the vid of Rob and myself at the track, I think it will show a still shot at line up and a moving shot
