Wanna run to the bookstore to see if the June issue of Modified is out yet ? Aparently Stillen called up VRT today out of the blue and wanted to be their distributor for AP Racing Brakes. Mike was wondering how they knew they used AP stuff and why they would call out of the blue like that and then at the end of the conversation, the guy from Stillen said, "By the way, nice article in Modified." So to us, that sounds like my feature has hit the stands. It was supposed to be in the June issue and the May issue came out mid April so I wasn't expecting it for another few weeks. Anywho, I am stuck at work and the anticipation is killing me lol.

Sweet! It will be in the June issue, thats a definate, just don't know when it hits shelves.

 

If you can get a nice little writeup on the car as well as maybe a dyno sheet with some short pics we can drop an article on the front page maybe pick you up an extra sponsor or so.

Ok well, Ed I guess called the magazine to see when the issue was coming out and they said that it was going through print right now and should be mailed out the 29th! Companies like Stillen and other big advertisers get issue preview emails and thats where the Stillen rep saw my car and thus contacted VRT. I have emailed them since they were already closed for the day to see if they would send me that email as well.

 

i hope it hit the racks before the 5th. i always pick up a few car mags before i leave out on vacation so i would like to take a look at this one for sure.
