Cool, maybe Planet is still the dealer to go to.

 

Yes the tranny is being replaced under warranty. So now I am going to be getting a good portion of that 600 I spent back from United. The guy that checked the car at planet said their was metal shavings in the pan and would have been noticed had someone looked in the tranny. So now I know for a fact that United didnt even open up the tranny and look inside at the synchro. What a bunch of asses.

 

I don't think you can actually look inside a physically see that the synchros are bad, its recognisable by the shavings and your shifting issue. I am soooo happy they are replacing your tranny for you for free. Thats a pretty nice xmas present.
