I thought this was going to be easy.

I ordered new wheels over a week ago from VQ Motoring in Florida. The FedEx truck arrived at my house tonight. Only 3 wheels were delivered. One of the boxes looked damaged. I opened it while the driver was still here. Sure enough, the one wheel has a big dent on the front lip. (I don't need this B.S.)

The driver took the damaged wheel back, no problem. The tracking info shows the missing wheel as being in Phoenix.

I sent an e-mail to the supplier. No reply yet.

On a more positive note - I do like the two good wheels. My first thought when I opened the box was "Oh no, did they send 19's?" (They look so Big!) Nope, they are 18's, (just like the tires I ordered). The color is called 'Hyper Black'. It almost looks more pewter to me, or a black chrome. It is very glossy and flashes in the light. I can't wait to get them on the Z.

I am also happy to report that the tuner lug nuts I have fit properly.

I am leaving early in the morning for the GAF (German Auto Fest). It is a Porsche car show in Ventura this weekend. This wheel crap will have to wait until I get back to Vegas on Monday.

It was hard to pick the style and size I wanted to buy.
It was harder to give them my credit card # for the purchase.

Awe, sorry to hear about your problem. I know what it's like when you don't get the parts you want and you're limited on time. Let us know if you have problems.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but that's an adorable dog in your avatar, Rob!

They look like 22s on the Porsche lol. Nice wheels though, they will look really good on the Z.

You don't live off Pebble near GVP, do you? I've seen a really clean looking 914 leaving the neighborhood across from mine a couple of times.
