my friends friend was trying to sell and acura integra GSR with some upgrades to it.... someone got in contact w/ him about it, it ended up being this same scam..... he got the check, cashed it, didnt send the money to the person, and didnt send the car, and he made 9G's..... as far as i know, the FBI never showed up or anything, he just got real lucky i guess.

 

Um, am I missing something here? How? The funds were good, he didn't send the $ or the car. Isn't that stealing then?

I TOLD HIM TO WIRE ME THE $$$

 

Mostly the scam comes from Nigeria . The Nigerian government will not cooperate in trying to stop the scam or press charges . This has been going on for at least 2 yrs.
