Tested Your Net Speed Lately?

My Comcast went out twice tonight... back on now and for some reason amazingly above average speed...
I also just picked up a new router from a coworker: D-Link DIR-655 N Router for $30.

wow they are having problems here but i didnt know it was like this:
i have to reset the modem every few hours, mabe its got something do do with the improper speeds. a little one sided at 20 meg down and 1 up
and that was to seattle which isnt the closest or least trafficed server either, pretty busy place

whats up with the board, it seems slow to respond. i retested my connection to other servers again and i am still getting stupid high download.
new york id down a little on speed but the test it self went quicker so i dont think they sent the same ammount of info as last time
