Do you have a main computer hard wired to the router / cable modem? Check the speed on that comp. Wireless can be slow if you have a lot of walls or other objects in the way.... as well as distance from the router.

PS... I don't think "Qwest" is cable... it's DSL... which is usually slower than cable.

oh ok. it's cable vision, which also provides my tv now, so that's why i thought cable. but yea i do have one hard wired to the router and i'd bet that it is better. i do have two walls in the way... i'll check that one later

sounds like cable, but unless you paid for the really high speed, that looks about normal on a wifi setup. so dont sweat it, the upload is slow though.

for true. it seems to work great, but it has a tendency to just stop in the middle of things, requiring me to refresh the page maybe 5 times before i can finish a video download. but it works weel all the way through other times

last timwe we did this i got a speed almost decent and the machine was working great-----now i do not have to test the thing to know it is :

so does anyone have any advise on why my internet just stops in the middle of downloads and stuff? anything long, it just stops, and i need to refresh it a few times before it will finish
