and I've been using Firefox 3.0 for a while now. At least a few months. I never even noticed any problems.

Eff Comcast. My HOA opted to upgrade everyone to Comcast digital for free so the tech guy came & set up the box. I mentioned my 8MB connection speed & said that isn't right, and he just tested my neighbor's connection & they are getting 14MB. He gave no answers...

lol, not the best results i have had, but its the cheap cable internet time warner offers.

http://www.speedtest.net/result/467372301.png

getting there, i keep seeing it spike at 28 but i guess it averages it out for the result.

Even slower at work today than it was in my post above. My work T1 sucks. slower than DSL! lol

We're moving to a new building soon. I'll see if the gigabit connection makes one bit of difference there.

1242 at home. *** with the cheapest(slowest) cable internet package they offer.

I'd post one from work but zdriver is blocked by our security filter.

Damn Comcast updated the firmware on my Linksys WCG200 cable modem router and effed it up so I had to go buy a Motorola modem & separate Linksys wireless router... at least it's running faster.

^^^ What modem are you using? If it's a comcast rental, call tech support & have them trouble shoot for ya. On a basic plan you should be getting 8-10mb download & 1.5-3mb upload (though... 6mb upload is nice!). I had them come out 2 times. The first time the guy found that my cable line on the outside was toast from my living room splitter back. That helped, but didn't fix it. Finally after tons of research, it turns out that Comcast sends out mass firmware updates from time to time. If your modem doesn't like it (and it's not a comcast modem), you're sol.
