Not cool. On a side note... there's an 83 280zxt at the Pick n Pull. Someone already did the work of removing the head for no reason... it's all still there... I thought about grabbing the cam, but didn't have time.

Actually it's down to the bare block & I think one engine mount was already out. I'm thinking it's a fresh arrival to the PnP though, and the owner donated it already taken apart, because the head, manifolds, etc were all in tact in the hatch.

 

If that motors been open like that for more then a day i wouldnt try running it without rebuilding it.

 

Damn it all.... Not cool hmm... I wonder how much the turbo, manifold, and dizzy would be

Prolly $150 seeing as how the PnP is so damn expensive these days. The IC was $60, but I get a $15 core refund when I bring back a radiator (I have like 5 with massive holes).

 

Well that sucks for me, I cant get it I have no money till that damn Camaro sells. I hope someone gets that Z before PnP crushes it...

 

I might hit it up again next week... I'll let ya know. Maybe I'll stash the head & manifolds in a Geo... no one will touch them there.

OH Nismo, I was going to braze weld over all the pin holes of rust in my Z but I'm kinda new to doing this kind of welding, do you have to get the metal red hot to have the brazing rod melt into the seems?
