Hey here's my manifold so far. It's not done yet, it's partially polished, then we had the leftover bolt holes and such welded up and ground down and the polisher says he'll have it finished by tomorrow night or Wednesday morning.

That looks really good. How much it is to get that polished?

It's a bit more than I expected, but I don't normally get things polished. For my Turbo valve cover, having the intake manifold shaved down, the extra holes welded and polished, and my timing cover polished it's running me close to $300. Don't know if that's good or not. That's gonna be one shiny engine though.

Alright, with my suspension pulled apart I'm wondering what color to paint some of this stuff. I've got the red Tokico springs and the red energy suspension bushings. What colors do you think I should use to paint my strut housings, swaybars, etc. Again I'm going to paint the car in a dark blue. any recommendations?

I'd go black if the springs are red... but that's just my taste.

It turns out that Utah gets more rain than Seattle! Been raining here for 3 weeks straight. Today is the first sunny day in quite a while.

I've been doing home remodeling while it's raining...

i think I'm gonna try running some 15x10 rear and 15x8 hoosiers on my current setup and see how well it responds, hopefully it wont have massive sidewall flex.

hmm the choice between a life of cars or drugs? i think drugs are the cheaper and less addictive route to go in life and might increase your life span in certain situations.

Saw a 260Z at a local car show the other night. The guy had put a 350 small block bored out to 415 into his Z. Ran the exhaust so the pipes come out the passenger side just in front of the rear tire. It was pretty cool. That motor really does look good in that car. With that kit it just looks like that engine bay was made to fit a V8.
