My N42 intake and my valve cover are almost done. We took them to the polisher a while ago. He said the valve cover is about done, but the manifold was taking longer than expected. I'll post pics once they're done. I hear this guy does really good work.

Anyway what do you guys think I should do. I've got 2 heads now. The P90a that came off my motor with 99,209 miles on it and from my 280Z I have an N42 head with supposedly 66k miles. Although the head is covered in sludge, and the spray bar supposedly wasn't lubricating as it should so it would probably need a rebuild anyway. I'm debating if I should have one of them rebuilt, and then just hang onto it for if I eventually rebuild the bottom end of the L28? Or should I rebuild and try to sell it?

sorry bout the spelling i was half drunk alright..i get lazy when i type. no point cause after a while it all blurs together and i cant see it anyway. if it is really a big deal i'll start using proper grammar. Like using capitol letters when they are needed, as well as commas, apostrophes, all punctuations, interjections, and other parts of speech.

i wonder if you could use a BIG nuclear explosion in space to propel a space craft forward.

 

every action has an equal and opposite reaction. though it depends on the circumstances. the explosion would need to be focused properly. being close to an explosion in space would not cause a craft to be propelled in any useful manner, as there is no medium to transfer momentum in a vacuum. a nuclear explosion results when matter is converted rapidly into energy, and without something like air or water you get no shock wave.

 

hmm, to bad we dont have the technology to direct that energy or to capture that energy.
