Bent shocks? Mount them like / \ and no more bent shocks... Something I've wanted to do on my truck, when I get around to actually wheeling again.
lol, we tried, the shocks bottom out before the FCA's bottom out on the frame and it seems they dont like taking the blunt end of a 4k pound truck getting 3 feet of air.
I did that with tires... I put a hole in the side wall while wheeling, got it replaced, then did the same thing again (same tire). When they asked how, I told them there were tree branches in the road.
I would have to pick the Long Travel Tacoma I got to drive
I pretended my truck was one, jumped about 30 feet and lost the passenger side lower ball joint. Easy fix (lower ball joint, new CV, new tire, and cleaning out the packed in dirt), but having to get towed home sucked
