i think we need a special license to drive z's for their neutrality and tax them for modifications, as well as a reliability tax, that comes along with a special inspection to make sure the rust is kept to a minimum. better yet lets ban them all together, they seem to be nothing but a burden on my life, always cutting in front of me, always rusty and sore on the eyes, too many idiots driving them and thinking they are cool.

its so god damn retarded, GROW THE **** UP!!!!!!!!

oh my god, motorcycles inconvenience me so much and the world would be better off without them or their stupid riders, they are just such a pain in the ***, always doing and getting away with the things i wish i could be doing.

JESUS ****ING CHRIST, grow some goddamn ***** and end this ****ing little pissy *** little ***** session!!!!!

wheres the damn jack daniels?

(/end:rant)

(no offense or disrespect, but since we are all speaking our minds)

LMFAO!

I still say Hoov for the pres.

Just because you do not like something does not mean to take it from others. It should not be the governments job to tell you how to wipe your butt for safety. You are the type of person willingly voting away yours and others freedoms because of something that irritates you.

That's a sad thing.

Move to a country that give it's people no control over their own lives. I think you would enjoy it more.

Well i know it runs good.

The front end is a different color than the rear, but im not too worried about the looks i just want something that will run for a while. there is no rust though.

And i also dont know what the interior looks like.(again im not too worried)

i might be getting back in the Z game as well. my mom just informed me of a 240Z in the middle of nowhere that i may be able to pick up really cheap. after she begged me to sell my 280Z because it was too old, now she is saying i should buy the 240Z... if its a good price then i will pick it up.

Hello all, just got back from my vacation to see me daughter and my best friend. Man it is cold right now in Ga.

When we were up there we of course rode around in his 1980 2+2...man it hauls ****. We also went to the Honda and Yamaha/Suzuki motorcycle dealerships...let's just say that I will probably never be able to ride a real sport bike...650R excluded. We sat on the Honda 1000RR and the 600RR's and both were very light feeling but once the feet were on the pegs it was a no go, way to cramped and all my weight was on my arms and wrist...it sucked, plus I could only straddle them on my tippy toes. We also sat on the Yamaha R1 and R6's...even worse I am sad to say. While we were at the Honda dealership we sat on some cruisers...the Honda Shadow Spirit 750 is a perfect fit...just so yall know. Oh, and my daughter is getting tall, for a 10 year old she is pretty smart too.

pffffttt.... its just cause your a weak old man. you gotta use your ab's so some of the weight comes off your arms it also leaves more mobility in your upper body since all your weight isnt on them and you have to take the weight off each time you try to kiss your mirrors. also, just crouch down when you get tired. thats what i do but i hardly ever do, just rest my stomach on the tank and take my feet off the pegs or i stand up on the pegs that helps to plus you get to stick your *** in the air at everyone lol, also i got race rear sets so my pegs are even higher up and farther back than stock made my knees feel like garbage the first two days i rode it now its quite comfy

Hardy har har...With the screws in my right knee...it was somewhat painful to have my feet so high and my knees so bent...don't get me wrong I could ride them but it would be very uncomfortable. I still think the 650R would be as sporty as I could go and still be able to ride long distances....or I could just stick with a cruiser like I have now.

So, I just modified the headlight housing on my bike to take a 9004 halogen. Much better then the stock light, It lights up the road real well. I`ll get pictures someday.

honda took number one for the past 3 years, not prior as far as i remember. and by number one i mean best mix between track use and street use. on pure track use yamaha seems to take the cake all the time but blows for street use

go search motorcycle.com archives or motorcycleusa.com archives thats where i did ALL my research

I remember back when I used to get and read sport bike magazines that the F2's and 3's were ranked #1 for most of the 90's...mind you this was a long time ago so I could be wrong.

A quick craigslist search might let you know what is most popular in your area for your criteria.

well... back then honda pretty much started to revolutionize the way the sport bike scene was developing. all the companies quikly followed suite but honda i believe was the first to make a crotch rocket style bike. but all those bike from back then blow, heavy as hell super fat and super low and under powered. were probably cool back in the day but damn.....

My CBF was part of the revolution. Honda lead the way since the 70's.. Disc brakes, and all.

yeah the only criteria i'm trying to meet is that it's one of the early FI years so that it's cheaper, it's a 600cc sport bike, and it's not the crappiest one. but the way snw says it, they are all pretty much decent except for gixxers which are crappy. this guy may end up with a gixxer though.
