Oh don't get me wrong, I am not hating, to each their own....plus I had a 1992 Camaro...and I loved that car...just not a fan on skinny tires on wide rims. If he likes it that's all that matters.

It's all good...but I would still put a wide body kit on the car and the right sized tires for the rims...just me.

 

It's all good. Personal preference. There are many people out there like myself that just want to fit wheels that aren't supposed to fit stock body cars and make them! And I like it because I just love the bosozoku look. That is my plan for the z. Get motor, make it look ridiculous to most people and win.

This car is my inspiration even though it only has wheels aha.



Heck I might even do zg flares! Who knows.

 

All the car shows I have been too would mark you off for the tires not matching the rims. Other than that, and the exhaust, it's a great looking Z.
But, I don't think they had a class for rediculous aftermarket jobs.

my ***** hurt, i just got a quote for $2145 to replace all of my plastics and headlights on the bike, my ***** are a hurting.....

 

i think i'm going with a napa ps pump. it's about $130 and a new one is $400. i think it will work.

 

not going to try and rebuild it first?

when are you doing yours? i want to hear how it turns out. i have a bad feeling that the seals wouldn't necessarily cause it to not work properly, but to leak. mine doesn't leak, it doesn't work.

 

well mine is intermitent it works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt thats why i think mine just needs the pressure relief valve looked at which i believe is in the pump so a rebuild would be ok for me.

i just got a 185 dollar ticket and im going on vac. soon so idk when i will do it hopefully soon cause its very annoying when it doesnt work

 

mine is doing the same thing. but like i said, why would the wrong fluid make that valve not work. i think it's just a general loss in pressure. maybe i'll try the rebuild and let you know how it goes. where did you find a rebuild kit?

 

yeah... that sounds about right lol. go on a yamaha forum or R1 forum people CONSTANTLY part out good condition plastics when they convert their bike to a track bike can get a full set for like 500 bucks oem.
