its true 200k miles is nothing for a properly cared for motor, hell my friend had a van that reached 880k miles before catching fire.

ok it has to due with the compression in the cylinder leaking and it makes it harder for the crankshaft to spin and making it harder to go

wrong! less compression means easier to spin actually. means less explosion in cylinders though

Rebuilding an engine won't give you that. Especially if YOU of all people are rebuilding it.

Driving style, and how you take care of the motor will affect how long it will last and how many probs you will have.

you shouldnt have to worry about your car if you take care of it and know how to properly care for it.

ARP bolts and studs all the way around, melling oil pump, 85T cams, matched valve springs with titanium retainers, adjustable cam gears, enlarged oil pan, mild port and polish on the head. with port matched upper and lower plenums, gutted upper, and ported exhaust manifolds, going into a gt25 turbo and a custom 3" exhaust. now for the driveline i wouldnt mind a fidanza flywheel with a os giken double plate clutch. on a 30a trans with a 3.54 LSD.

Those are the PARTS for a rebuild. An actual REBUILD requires you putting it all together... torquing everything through the right sequence, and to the right spec... putting things on the right way and in the right order. Making sure the clearances are within spec....
