so my Z32 got 23.5 MPG on the last tank. i was pretty impressed considering that it is idling high. this was mostly highway too. is this pretty good comparatively?

I am buying another 280zx turbo tomorrow for parts. I has a lot of good interior and body, and after i get my 260zt running I will sell off excess engine and electrical parts. Also I was sold the wrong wiring harness off ebay, what I needed was an engine harness what I received was a body loom. So I have a 82-83 280zxt body loom that is NOS never been installed. I will sell for the price I paid, $150 plus shipping. If anyone is interested I will start taking pictures and parting out the new 280zxt when I get it home tomorrow.

I`m in Idaho. I`d be willing to get you the hard parts though. With this car I will have 2 complete motors. 2 complete harnesses and 1 that I think is bad. 3 Turbo distributors with cas. And 3 ecu`s. I am starting to collect quite the turbo parts collection. I also have a complete (needing rebuilt) l26 that came in the 260. I also have the 5.0 HO engine, tranny and rear if I ever decide to go v8.

 

please do not bash the cars or other zdrivers, guyz--you have your own thread for the bashing of each other---please leave the innocent cars alone---they did nothing.....and this man's collection sounds waaaay too worthy for you, snowy......mr fancy connectors, please raise the price for snowy by about double to preserve the longevity of your: (beautiful car.....never ending project...rustbucket....going to be missed family member...etc......choose answer).....

LMAO!!!!! its a turbo car! do you even know what my Z looks like or whats gone into it? if your being serious your just way to presumptious on who i am. **** i should just find my own turbo car cuase if i do go L motor i want the stronger tranny and the real motor cause i read up the cylinder walls are a hair thicker. plus i could just rebuild my N42 head and slap it all together with ARP bolts get a stand alone and a sick turbo setup and then make some real power.thats about 2k right there for (with a good tune) 300+ whp.

mine doesnt need so many parts because it has been so very reliable----i love this car----drove her today---was gonna be 1 hour---was out 4 hours....so much fun.......

 

I got the 280zxt home today. Its kinda nice. to bad no title. Anywho I will be fixing the 260z tomorrow and taking pictures of the 280zx. Its inteerior is perfect, leather seats no rips, and brand new carpeting. I will be parting the whole car - what i need. Its got nice wheels, and good rubber I will be keeping so not for sale. Dash has no cracks. PM now to claim your parts, the head is already claimed. If i`m keeping it I will let you know, so just ask for what you need.

 

does it drive great? maybe ill just come and take it off your hands and send you the parts you want for free, is it manual? all i want is the motor and tranny, you can have the electronics i wanna go with an SDS standalone. lol.
