Ok WildMan....you have given me the Megadeth bug....I will be getting this guitar very soon....also a guitar model that Dave Mustaine plays...here is the actual model and color...I found out it is a limited edition model as aposed to the regular models...I think because of the paint. I looked at it today and it is just like new and has the hardshell case with Dave's signature on it. I won't say the price cause it makes me cringe but I am sure I will again run into Dave and have him sign it...word.

... I doubt it, he lives about 12 miles from me... and I live about 2600 miles from you.

But... If I run into him again, I'll let you know.

Right on man, and I am seeing Megadeth, with Dio and Sabbath, with Machine Head. The 22nd of April, here at Dodge Theater. I have seen Megadeth, twice, and Sabbath twice. They put on great concerts also. But yeah that is a sweet axe. You do know that Dave Mustaine signed with Dean guitars right? I still love the King V, the best though. It is just better looking than the Dean, and ESP, he used to play. Anyway I'm glad I gave you the Megadeth bug. he he. Good luck on getting that axe man, pretty tight.

Yeah, I just found out a few days ago that he signed with Dean Guitars (Dean is based here in Pinellas County). I don't like the look of Dave's Dean model...though I have never played a dean that sounded or played bad...even the dirt cheap deans play and sound good.

I couldn't help it... Guitar center was having a sale.

That's 3 new guitars THIS year so far. They're the only addiction stronger than Z Cars.

The 3 major food groups...

Telecaster
Stratocaster
Les Paul

Nice purchase Rod! I've been thinkin about getting a Les Paul but I don't really want to fork out the $$$ for a Gibson so I was thinking about getting an Epiphone. So how do you like it? Is there really much difference between an Epi and a Gibson.....except for the name on the headstock? I've had a couple Epi Explorers and they were great guitars.

The Epi's I have owned over the years have been as good or better than my high dollar Gibsons in almost every case. I love them and I can't justify the massive cost difference to go to the actual Gibson anymore... buy one, you won't regret it!

Nice score Rod, those are some sweet axe's! Anyway I have been recording myself playing my axe with my cell phone. Just the sounds, kind of crappy. But you can hear me playing notes and such. Anyway where can I go to put the recordings at? I can send them to e-mail. Then I should be able to put them on a website. So if anybody can tell me where to go. I will try and post the sound clips up.

I have just been playing around with a Jackson Dinky Reverse and my new Zoom 505II pedal, it sounds real nice for metal. I will be getting a Dean Vendetta guitar here soon and doing my thing to it. What I mean is I will be taking out the stock pickups and replacing them with either a matched set of Duncan JB's (SH-4, TB-4) or going with what I have always swapped in, Dimarzio Tone Zone DP155 (bridge pickup) and the Air Norton DP193 (neck pickup) they sound so sweet together. I am sure I will go with the Dimarzio's....I always do.

Nice purchase Rod. My number one axe is a Olympic White Strat. Thats my favorite color for a Strat...and that was the color of the Strat Jimi Hendrix played at Woodstock.

Cool pics WildmaN. The Iron Maiden T-shirt FTW!
