Wahoo! Sounds like we're going to have a nice group. I'll be leaving on Friday 4/27/07 in the afternoon & depending on the drive I'll stay either stay that night in Vegas or drive straight through to LA. I say we all meet up on Saturday & do some kind of car meet / eat some food.

DO IT! I said Zed a couple times in Canadia... mostly so the locals wouldn't know my true identity.

Ill be there, btu sadly i dont think the Z is gunna make it this year. She is closing in on 270k on all original **** and i just cant put her through that kind of milage one more time. I'll be there, but either by plane, R6 or dare i say . . . honda? And yes, Darrellbuddy and I both got MSA type 2 airdams for 10 bucks a pop. Just had to stick it in the Z length wise for the 600+ mile journey home with my Xgf sitting co-pilot. Gotta love rumaging through MSA's clearance **** at 6am!

X? sad...
ya, 6am Saturday the day before the show. I got the rear bumper for 10 buckarooz!

About this time last year is when I started my engine build. If it wasn't for the stupid truck being stolen I could have had it in the car before my trip. But then again, hopefully I would have found my boost leak quick enough...

So Apollo, are we gonna party in LA like we did before?! that was fun. Lets go clubbin or something too! hehe

Its less than 400 miles! now I drove with that bumper in my car for probably over 1000 miles!

no, they mostly have misc body kit pieces like one side skirt for a 280Z 2+2 (crap nobody would buy even in pairs) ...or rear carpet kits without the front half in tan/marron colors... the colors that sell the least. some of these items have a tiny scratch or nick out of them.

I didn't really see a whole lot of mechanical items but I wasn't there at 6am either.

my rear bumper is the 1979-81 style with the passenger side exhaust exit. Less desirable. But I have a plan for that.
they had a ton of misc side skirts all in one huge pile, unmarked. The guys there would suggest what they might go to, but they dont' guarantee anything.

Lots of Z31 stuff since fewer people buy those cars much less upgrade them! lol

Yeah, I had to fix mine.... made a mold & re-fiberglassed that right side to match the curve.

Yea, the sale has lots of interior and body parts but most of the mechanical **** gets swooped up as soon as it hits the bargaining floor if there is any. Although last year there was quite a bit of headers, and electrical components towards the end of it. Good thing the s130 has yet to catch on at MSA cuz we had a wide aray of **** to choose from and nobody was bitting. Or shoudl i say there wasnt many S130 owners to bite. ****, i got a friggin airdam for diez pesos. I aint trippin.

The "show" isn't going to be held at the same location. I think its gotten too large (and the trouble last year probably sealed the deal) .. so the "show" portion is being moved. The latest I heard .. approx 9 miles EAST of the MSA location .. at a park. (I'm told that it ISN'T Irvine Regional Park .. so so far I'm clueless any more details)

Oh ... the link above has a bit more info.
