MSA Nationals 07... Who's going?

It's been on my mind lately... I actually didn't think I'd be able to go, because my college finals are usually always the last week of April / first week of May. Well... I'm only taking one class next semester... so I'm deffinately going.

Anyway... Looks like April 27 - 29 2007. MSA doesn't have anything posted yet, but check here for updates: http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/WCN

Who's planning to go?

I'm going. They sell air dams for three hundred dollars....

Let's get 'em!

I got thier little winter sale price sheet last month. They listed the exact dates of the MSA show but I threw that flier away... I should have written down the MSA show info.

Yeah... I help people w/ their Z's while Bleachie sits in the shade drinking his Pina Colada. Remember... Bleach is the evil twin.

If everything pans out, like I plan. I should be there also. I really want to go, but things have to work out. And me be out of debt, and getting my other Z roadworthy. Will keep you informed on the outcome.

Right on. Per Mapquest from Meza to LA it's about 400mi.

From Bountiful to LA it's just a hair under 700mi. 700mi @ 100mph... 7hr drive isn't so bad! I did that on my way back from the 2002 show.... LA to SLC in 7.5 hrs.... white nuckle the whole way!

it's not that far is it, it's like 820 to riverside, and thats further than la, and that doesn't make since, 700mi/100=7. you lie, little buddy..well i guess not. I make it in 10.5 hrs. thats with the time change, and not trying to get pulled over.

swing through SD on your way out snw and we'll make it a 260 caravan I've got my fingers crossed I'll have the engine swap done by then and still have enough greenbacks to finance the trip there and back

haha.. all 2 of us make it a caravan lol.. and what swap are yuo thinking of.. im interested in ideas... is it cost effective? simple? pm me even i can keep a secrete... i just need ideas... i dont feel like swapin in a l28et very much any more.. i just. i dont know. they got there stupid problems that i would have to eliminate... such as that retarded *** AFM... whihc im sure i could do with megasquirt and such... but still... i dont know... after looking at prices on performance parts i was thinking almost building an N/A motor.. Cam the bitch better carb set up some sort of distibutorless ignition... i dotn know.. but im kinda off of the l28et horse.... not into the V8 scene much... sick of JDM motor ideas... actually i was tihnking on getting a 4G63 motor mating it with a starion tranny and droppin that bitch in...

I was thinking of going the NA/carb route myself. But then I started adding up costs of parts and it got out of hand. For what it would cost me just to build up the motor and make in the neighborhood of 200hp, I could swap in something else thats capable of making atleast twice that without breaking a sweat. So I ditched that idea. Thought about the L28ET too and, well, I'm just tired of 25 year old technology.

As far as what motor I'm putting in...I'll never tell You're going to have to wait til its done. It'll probaby be around MSA because I've got to wait til it starts warming back up to get the project started. Yeah I've got a garage, but it's detached and doesnt have any power going to it yet. If I can get it all done and still have enough money left over I'll just reveal it at MSA. Otherwise it'll be a ZDriver exclusive
