good bye 240sx :(

well... the SX is dead. i got in an accident 20 minutes ago. it was a low speed crash only 4 houses down from mine he was plowing his drive way in a 2008 chevy 2500 backed out right into my path way to fast i swerved to the outer side of the street but he went right there to. luckily my attempted dodging made me hit his wheel so i crushed the trucks center cap on the wheel and yeah thats it. the rim seemed fine might have tweaked the alignment SLIGHTLY if at all and no body damage. my front left fender and core support caved in my steering wheel was pointing 90 degrees to the right to drive in a straight line and there's a large bulge in the floor so it buckled! also the radiator is leaking etc. basically, its totaled in my book. we got an insurance claim going but once i told him it was worth 1200 dollars he said he might just cut me a check for the amount. which would be very nice and quick. then i will part the interior since it is mint and keep the tranny for myself. overall... I'm pretty damn happy! now i get to buy another car! YAY!!! but what should i get now? a z? hmmmm......

also anyone interested in mint condition SX interior parts?

yeah there is no way a 240 5-speed would sell for less than 2k around here. people love them here. they are the new drift car. even your model. i looked a few times and scarcely found any of them under 3k. but good luck.

lol its ok, im happy cause that car was rusting fast on me it was turning into a dead end quiker than i expected. also i only paid 1200 for it and it rusted more from this wild winter so getting my money back is more than enough for me. and as B said the insurance company would see the rust and offer me that amount or less if im lucky cause fixing the body/chassis would be alot of welding and crap probably 2k or more worth of work. also, im not shady like that nor greedy, i get my money back part the interior and hopefully will have 2k in the end. more than enough for a good daily driver for me since i got the bike.

EDIT: oh on a plus note my jacket finally came for my motorcycle today.
