Sorry about your accident. At least you're ok.

I used to have a 91 Tsi and that car was a decent ride. Good luck on your new ride and it looks like its time to change your sig pic.

Don't know about Studded tires in Illinois, but here in Cleveland they're illegal because they tear up the road or something. I'm not sure why exactly, but you can't have them. Oh, can't have chains either.

DSM is a great car. strong and AWD. also no Z's in the area right now and honestly, i really enjoyed the more modern interior of my SX so if i do get another Z as far as this year goes cause i decided to keep the bike this summer would be a Z32. and any Z32 i can afford probably isn't one i would want to buy. so im looking into other 90's car options.

I would call a 1984 2+2 auto 300ZX (w/ rust) a virtual tie with a DSM on the style scale...

Agreed. Snow, your list is questionable. Eagles, Bimmers and to top it all off you would go for a 190E? Not even a standard one, an extra crappy one with cheap plastic frills to make it seem less crappy? Go for it man. Buy your dream bucket.

190E is one of the best benz's made. talons/eclipses are a great car as far as teh first gen goes the second gen is questionable with the crank walk dilema though it rarely happens but the styling is sexy. some people..... for shame and the bimmer option is the one to mix luxury and performance, something i wouldnt complain about driving every day nor would a lady and i wouldnt be tempted to put money in it. i have my logic and reasons for the cars picked, i searched MANY other vehicles makes and models and in my area this was all that pleased me, its not at all what i limited my search to.

I used to be an Mercedes apprentice and i can say with confidence that the 190E is the lowest point in Benz history. You're better off with a Yugo.

yeah the standard 190e is crap thats the 190e 16v the one with the cosworth motor that they made to rally found out it wasnt fitting and instead stuck it in the DTM and set a bunch or world records. **** remember one of the last tests in GT4 you have to circle the ring in one of those, its a kick *** car. and supposedly this specific one is the AMG version so basically its just up to eurospec and does the 180 hp instead of the US 164 also its the same motor as the DTM but with a shitty L tronic EFI system a smaller cam profile and not as heavily ported intake/exhaust ports, get a good tune in there port and a few other supporting mods like cam exhaust intake and it should be able to produce the same numbers the motor was originally created for which is close to 300 hp. i think its a kick *** car with ALOT of history to it.

oh also, yeah i "trusted" the car with my safety, i knew it would crumble like it was made of card board and with the long front end i wasnt to worried about safety however in a high speed crash theres a chance it woulda folded so fast the motor would have been in my lap. thats why its only been on the highway 3 times in my ownership

no offence but theres no way a rusted to hell 240SX would top $1500 here.
thats in response to an early comment

we dont use salt on the roads but cars still rust just the same, i have had alot of people look over my cars that i have sold hard core but i let em know what i know and most of them have been pretty rustless.

i wouldnt have worried about avoiding the guy if he pulled out infront of you, especially when you know theres no going any further with a rust bucket. i woulda gone....oh well SMASH!

i got that way with my maxima, if your gonna be stupid you might get a supprise, no contact though. had some people ask why i didnt do any thing and i just said i didnt see them and drive off.

nice! Then they call the police and claim you hit them. with no witness, you get slammed with leaving the scene of an accident and you will take fault in court.

if i would have hit some one pulling out in front of me i woulda stuck arround and waited for my money.
it got to the point where it wasnt worth it enought to sewrve into other lanes and causing other people to freak out any more.

but i didnt hit any one so it didnt matter making what you said a moot point.

the people would ask my why i didnt swerve and i didnt want to deal with them so i just said i didnt notice.
